Four LHS Senior Scholars were recognized, with a special award from the Massachusetts Association of Superintendents, during the National Honor Society Induction Ceremony. Pictured left to right are Seniors Saul Santos, Lesley Hernandez, Deputy Superintendent Carlos Matos, Seniors Angelica Castillo and Celine Bran. Congratulations to these Seniors for their pursuit of excellence in their High School careers.

Families enjoyed the fun at the 2rd Annual Fall Festival at the Tarbox School. Face painting by Abbott Lawrence students, balloon animals from the PTO and lots of great food brought by our parents. Thanks to everyone who made this happen!

How did you celebrate World Kindness Day on November 13th? These Rollins School students danced, passed a Kindness Heart and celebrated everyone at their school.

Hennessey students celebrated our Veterans by making cards and writing messages to those who served during our school wide Unified Champions event.

Our LPS Chief Financial Officer, Jason Cabrera, put on his apron and got to work prepping and serving lunches with the Nutrition Services staff at the Arlington School yesterday. Shout out to all the Arlington staff!

Exciting news for the LHS Cheer Team, they are the MVC champs again this Fall! Congratulations to all the team members and look for them doing their winning cheers at the next home football game on Friday night.

For the past three weeks the NJHS at Guilmette Middle has been supporting the sub-separate students work on social skills, hand eye coordination and measuring distance all while forming great friendships. Over the next few weeks we will continue to work on measuring distance and how weight can impact throwing velocity by increasing the weight of the balls each week until Thanksgiving for our final turkey toss challenge!

Lancer Varsity Sports had a tremendous last week of regular season play. Girls soccer had a hard-fought tie, varsity football soundly beat Haverhill in their last home game, and girls volleyball brought home a win on Senior Night. Go Lancers!

Retired Bruins Hockey player, Bob Sweeney read to two special classrooms at the Oliver Elementary School. These first graders were selected for excellent attendance! He talked with the students and read to them before they were able to select 3 books to take home. Thank you Bruins Foundation and Scholastic for bringing these special books to our students.
