Lawrence Lancer Football played their Thanksgiving Game at Fenway this year against rivals Central Catholic Raiders. Lots of fans came out for this special game.

If you are over at LHS Campus during lunch, check out the Book Mobile created by LHS Librarian Molly Lewis. There are great books to borrow and always fun themes, like this Thanksgiving theme created by the PG2 class.

This was the inspiration on their mural at the recent Guilmette Educational Complex Friendship Dinner where families were able to write on this mural what they are thankful for. One wrote: I'm grateful for my Mom, Dad, brother and aunt. Another wrote: I'm thankful for my family and friends that care for me and love me.

LHS Theater wrapped up performances of In the Heights with a full house. Congratulations to all involved in this wonderful performance.

Tonight, Saturday November 23, is the final performance of LHS Theater's In the Heights and you don't want to miss the chance to see this high energy and talented cast perform. Show starts at 6pm in the Performing Arts Center at Lawrence High School.

Four LHS Senior Scholars were recognized, with a special award from the Massachusetts Association of Superintendents, during the National Honor Society Induction Ceremony. Pictured left to right are Seniors Saul Santos, Lesley Hernandez, Deputy Superintendent Carlos Matos, Seniors Angelica Castillo and Celine Bran. Congratulations to these Seniors for their pursuit of excellence in their High School careers.

Families enjoyed the fun at the 2rd Annual Fall Festival at the Tarbox School. Face painting by Abbott Lawrence students, balloon animals from the PTO and lots of great food brought by our parents. Thanks to everyone who made this happen!
