Formerly known as the Lawlor Early Childhood Center (Lawlor School) now renamed to the Lawrence Early Childhood Center. This early childhood center was previously located inside of the James I. Lawlor building, that was named after a local physician and World War One veteran, has moved to 301 Haverhill Street.
The 303 Haverhill Street location was once the location of St. Mary’s Elementary School before the year 2011 due to financial issues. This location also temporarily housed the Oliver Elementary school during the construction of the newly remodeled and renovated Henry K. Oliver building that was named after a Mayor of the city of Lawrence.
The Lawrence Early Childhood Center offers Full and Half-time Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten.
