  • General Educational Development (GED) - A GED, or General Educational Development certificate, is a high school equivalency credential that signifies a person has the knowledge and skills comparable to those of a high school graduate. It's achieved by passing a series of tests covering core high school subjects like math, science, social studies, and language arts. The GED is widely accepted by colleges and employers as a substitute for a traditional high school diploma. 

  • High School Equivalency Test (HiSET) - The HiSET, or High School Equivalency Test, is a high school equivalency exam designed for individuals who have not completed high school. It offers an alternative pathway to a high school diploma and is recognized as a valid credential for college admissions and employment opportunities. The HiSET exam assesses knowledge and skills in five core subject areas: Language Arts - Reading, Language Arts - Writing, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. 

  • Massachusetts Tests for Educator Licensure (MTEL) - The Massachusetts Tests for Educator Licensure (MTEL), or MTEL, is a series of exams required for individuals seeking educator licensure in Massachusetts public schools. These tests assess whether candidates possess the necessary knowledge and skills to teach in Massachusetts. The MTEL program includes the Communication and Literacy Skills test and various subject matter tests relevant to the specific license sought. 

  • ParaPro Assessment - The ParaPro Assessment is a standardized test that measures the reading, writing, and math skills of individuals seeking to become paraprofessionals or teaching assistants. It's often a requirement for certification in many states and serves as an objective assessment of foundational knowledge and skills needed to support classroom instruction. The test is developed and administered by ETS (Educational Testing Service).
