New for School year 2025-26, Lawrence Public Schools is excited to launch a full-day pre-kindergarten program! Please see details below and on the flyer, including how to apply to the district-wide lottery:
- Eligibility: Student must be 4 years old by September 1, 2025; can reside anywhere in Lawrence
- Location: Lawrence Early Childhood Center, 303 Haverhill St. (current Oliver Elementary School, also known as St. Mary’s)
- Hours: Monday-Friday 7:50am-2:50pm

This program is a two-year commitment, with the expectation that students will complete kindergarten at this location.

Please note this lottery is only for the limited number of seats in the new full-day preK program. Regular annual enrollment for half day preK (morning or afternoon) and kindergarten will open next month, with space for all Lawrence residents with age-eligible children.
