The purpose of this policy is to document how middle school students in the Lawrence Public Schools are made aware of, and gain exposure to, career and technical education (CTE) programs available at Lawrence High School, Greater Lawrence Technical School, and Essex North Shore Agricultural & Technical School.
This specific awareness and exposure to high school technical education options is integrated with the district’s MyCAP (My Career and Academic Plan) process that helps students better plan their academic and extracurricular school experiences to support their progress towards meaningful and productive careers as adults.
